Our non-emergency stretcher service is also called Stretcher, Stretcher Van, Bed-bound, Cot, Bedridden, and Gurney.
We offer a reliable and safe door-through-door stretcher transport for patients who need assistance to and from routine checkups, doctor visits, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare-related appointments.
Our drivers and assistants are trained professionals, certified in First Aid, and Defensive Driving.
Our full fleet of vehicles come fully equipped with stretcher ramps, comfortable seating, and more.

Covered Services

Stretcher service is provided to members who require no medical assistance but are not able to sit in a wheelchair.
Our stretchers and ambulances are equipped with industry-standard seat belts and latching mechanisms.

Our Vehicles

Olidia Transit uses the latest state of art stretcher equipment in our vehicles. We use Stryker gurneys, gurney hardware systems to secure the equipment. We also provide on board oxygen.
All our vehicles are cleaned, inspected, and serviced regularly to ensure our clients comfort and safety. They are driven by competent, friendly people.
Our vehicles are outfitted with the appropriate restraints and hookups to secure and stabilize the chair in the vehicle.

RIDER CONDITIONS

Our non-emergency ambulette transportation services are ideal for people who suffer from back or hip pain, arthritis, and other conditions that cause bodily discomfort.
  • Quadriplegia

    Quadriplegia refers to paralysis from the neck down, including the trunk, legs and arms. The condition is typically caused by an injury to the spinal.

    Spica Cast

    A hip spica cast is a sort of orthopedic cast used to immobilize the hip or thigh. It is used to facilitate healing of injured hip joints or of fractured femurs.

    Spina Bifida

    A congenital condition in which part of the spinal cord (or meninges) protrudes through a cleft in the spinal column, resulting in loss of voluntary movement in the lower body.

    Contracture

    A permanent tightening or shortening of a body part such as a muscle, tendon, or the skin often affecting its shape.

  • Recent Fracture

    Fracture of any bone that affects the member being able to sit in a chair or wheelchair. Affected bones may include the femur (thigh bone), hip, or coccyx (tailbone).

    Spinal Fusion

    Spinal fusion is a neurosurgical or orthopedic surgical technique that joins two or more vertebrae using bone grafts as well as metal rods and screws.

    TLSO Brace

    A brace used to limit motion in the thoracic, lumbar and sacral regions of the spine. It is used to treat stable fractures or after surgery to the spine.

    Decubitus and Sacral Ulcer

    Sacral ulcers are skin injuries that occur in the sacral region of the body, near the lower back and spine.

Our Process

Olidia Transit Stretcher Transportation includes door through door transfer to and from bed for Pick-Up and Drop-Off.

    We request the rider demographics and credentials and trip information.

  • Insurance Eligibility

    We contact the rider’s insurance and complete the eligibility verification.

  • Service Certification

    we complete and submit the Level of Service Certification Request for Stretcher

  • Service Execution

    We confirm the trip, discuss insurance approval and payment options and execute the ride.
